Helping Hands Happy Hearts started in 2022 by Rachel Luis and Tiffany Valdez.
Rachel Luis and Tiffany Valdez have always had a passion for giving back to their community. Rachel founded a local women’s non-profit in 2009 (High Hopes in High Heels) and Tiffany joined that organization in 2012. Rachel and Tiffany served on the board of High Hopes in High Heels for 10 years together.
However, after both got married and started families of their own, they realized the importance of teaching their children about community service and giving back.
And so Helping Hands Happy Hearts was born!
To educate children and families in the Tampa Bay area on important social issues while volunteering and giving back to the local community.
We hold ourselves accountable for the quality and lasting results of our work and for the commitments we make to our participants, partners, donors, and each other.
We go beyond conventional ideas and approaches so new possibilities and innovation can flourish to ensure real and lasting positive change for our members and those we serve.
We want to teach our members that volunteering together with loved ones and friends is fun! It’s the best way to give back and make memories together while improving the lives of others.
We maintain the highest standards of professional and ethical behavior, and value transparency and honesty in our communications, relationships, and actions.
We value and celebrate the unique and diverse talents, experiences, and perspectives of everyone, and treat our members, partners, donors and each other with sensitivity and respect.
Drop us a line to let us know! We are always looking for new ways to support the local community.
